Our Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors provides governing and strategic leadership to Rio Hondo CDC, setting the mission and vision of the organization, and developing policies and procedures to oversee the organization’s activities to ensure they align with our mission and our goals.

As a HUD Certified Community Housing Development Organization, public officials and employees of a governmental entity can make up no more than 1/3 of the board and at least 1/3 of the Board members must be: 1) low-income residents; 2) residents of a low income neighborhood; or 3) elected representatives of a low-income neighborhood organization.
