The Rio Hondo Community Development Corporation (Rio Hondo CDC) Board of Directors is accepting applications for board positions. If you believe your professional expertise and experience can help further our growing, in-demand organization’s mission by assisting with financial oversight, development, volunteering, and/or general business support, we look forward to hearing from you.
Our Board Members add value to our organization through bi-monthly meetings, participating in committees, participating in our annual Housing for All Summit, and volunteering occasionally in our community.
Board Members are Committed to:
- Learning our organization’s mission, policies, programs, and needs
- Serving as active advocates and ambassadors for Rio Hondo CDC
- Engaging in identifying and securing the financial resources and partnerships necessary to further our mission
- Leveraging our connections, networks, and resources to help secure further activities and opportunities
- Securing, identifying, or committing to meaningful financial donation
- Identifying personal connections that can benefit Rio Hondo CDC’s fundraising and reputational standing
- Preparing for, attending, and conscientiously participating in board meetings
- Participating fully in one or more committees
